Purpose:
The purpose of my class is to find adaptive enhancements for our Visually Impaired and Blind students; for them to have better successes in the classroom.
Methods:
I did a search on Bing including the phrase "software for students with disabilities" and "software for students with visual disabilities".
Results:
The first search brought up http://www.ucsd.edu/current-students/academics/students-with-disabilities/adaptive-equipment-software.html. This site informed me of the software programs called Zoom Text, Kurzweil 1000, and JAWS.
The second search brought up http://www.ed.uiuc.edu/wp/access/visual.html. This site was a guide to help students with visual disabilities.
